Vanessa Perez
5 Years

I have been working as an aesthetician and professional make-up artist for 5 years. I trained and assisted in permanent cosmetics with Antoinette Parfitt and am board certified by the American Academy of Micropigmentation.

I graduated from The High School at Moorpark College in 2002 and continued my education in the arts. I grew up in the beauty industry, being that my mom is a manicurist and stylist. Raised in a home with an Argentine mother I was taught waxing skills at a young age and began to work on friends in high school. I had my first job as an assistant with stylist Christina Blum and realized what I wanted to do with my life. I then enrolled at Newbery School of Beauty in Granada Hills, Ca. and graduated with a California State Board License in Aesthetics.

I began my career and was employed at the Hair Grove Salon in Westlake Village, Ca. for 4 years performing various full body waxing services, make-up applications (runway, bridal, music videos), and skin care. I was able to perfect my Aesthetic abilities and got to work with some of the best stylists who taught me quite a bit about color.

I will never forget the first time I saw permanent cosmetics. My mother came home with her lips tattooed and I thought it was the best idea she ever had! I was always interested in tattoos, and the concept of permanent cosmetics stuck.

I applied and interviewed with Antoinette and was accepted into her training facility in Simi Valley, Ca. I continue my education with Antoinette to maintain up-to date knowledge and skills.
